Ashley Williamson

Ashley Williamson is a proud Respiratory Therapy graduate. Before coming to Wallace State, she was enrolled in another college’s program. Four months before she was due to graduate, she experienced failure. A director at that school told her she should find another career, that respiratory therapy was not for her, but Ashley did not give up her dream.  Instead, she met another respiratory student from Wallace State and reached out to our program director who encouraged her to apply to the program.

Ashley said the next five semesters were grueling, but through hard work, amazing classmates and even better instructors, she made it.

Wallace State is actually the fourth college Ashley has attended in six years, but she says Wallace State is the best, and we agree. Ashley has mastered the science of respiratory therapy now, and she is grateful that her instructors believed in her when she found it hard to believe in herself.

Congratulations, Ashley, on completing your goal of becoming a respiratory therapist. We do believe in you and wish you the very best moving forward.
