College Prep Classroom / Lab

Raise COMPASS test scores by enrolling in the FREE program for College Prep and Employment Training. This program is designed to provide individualized instruction students need to improve scores as well as gain confidence needed to excel in academics. The lab is located on the 4th floor of the James C. Bailey Building.

Career Readiness Skills

Pre-employment and retained employment (academic skills for promotion) skills are offered through the Wallace State Adult Education Program. Students in these courses enhance listening, speaking, writing, reading, and mathematical skills pertaining to the job or career field of choice. Understanding charts, forms, documents, manuals, math problems, and problems solving skills are all part of the curriculum. Please specify that you are seeking Career Readiness Skills when you call to establish your start date.

WorkKeys Certification and Preparation & Employer Partnership

WorkKeys is a credential that may be earned to reflect employability skills. This certification exam covers work skills mathematics, locating information, and reading for information. FREE preparation and FREE WorkKeys testing are offered through the Adult Education program
