We will be closed for the holiday December 23, 2024 – January 2, 2025, and will reopen on Friday, January 3, 2025.
Upon our return, we will be responding to emails in the order they were received, so please expect a slight delay in our reply.
Below we have listed information that we feel may be helpful in answering your concerns.
FINANCIAL AID
To view your estimated aid for Spring 2025, please login into your myWallaceState. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Discover More. On the Account Transaction card, click on Student Account Balance. Under Student Account you will see ‘Estimated Aid’. This will be different from your aid that shows on the Financial Aid Dashboard. This aid is available now to apply to your fees.
If you do not see any estimated aid or believe your aid amount is incorrect, here are some things to check:
- SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) – Please login into your myWallaceState. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Discover More. Locate the Financial Aid card and click Financial Aid Details. Click Satisfactory Academic Progress. This will show your SAP status for the Spring 2025 term. If your SAP status is failing, your financial aid has been suspended. You may be able to file an appeal. Information for Financial Aid Appeals can be found on our website under Home/Financial Aid/Satisfactory Academic Progress. Financial Aid will need to be contacted for any other questions regarding SAP/Appeal’s. Their email is finaid@wallacestate.edu.
- FASFA REQUIREMENTS – Please login into your myWallaceState. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click
Discover More. Locate the Financial Aid card and click Financial Aid Details. Please
review any Unsatisfied Student Requirements. All requirements must be satisfied to receive financial aid. If all Student Requirements have been satisfied, please reach out to Financial Aid
so that your account can be reviewed. Their email is finaid@wallacestate.edu.
If the “Complete Admission Requirements” is Unsatisfied, you may need to request transcripts from each college you have attended. You are allowed to register for classes without sending all transcripts, however, you may not receive financial aid until all transcripts have been received. If you need to see what transcripts are missing, go to the Student Portal card and click Open Student Dashboard. Under Student Records, select Student Profile. On the left side of the screen, select Prior Education and Testing. If a Post Secondary Education is listed without a GPA, that would indicate that we have not received your transcript for that college, and you would need to request it. If you have requested the transcript before December 15th, please contact Admissions at Admissions@wallacestate.edu. - DEGREE WORKS – Please login into your myWallaceState. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Discover More. Locate the Degree Works card and click Degree works. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Check to see if any of your Spring 2025 classes are listed under Out of Degree Plan. Your aid is based off the number of credit hours you are enrolled in. If you have classes out of your degree plan you will need to speak with your Advisor.
- LOANS – If you should be receiving loans and do not see them in your estimated financial aid, please refer to your Degree Works to confirm you are enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Spring 2025 and they are in your degree plan. If you have classes out of your degree plan you will need to speak with your Advisor.
BOOKSTORE ORDERS
If Pell/Loan Awards exceed the amount of tuition and fees owed, students may charge books and supplies on their Pell/Loan accounts at the WSCC Bookstore. You may place your order by using Pell/Loans online now. At checkout, select the Financial Aid option and enter your student number under External Provider (Internal Provider is used for Athletic Scholarships). If you have one or more RENTAL items, you will NOT see the Financial Aid option until you enter a credit card. The credit card will be charged if the rental is not returned by the due date. Pell/Loan orders will not be charged to your student account until December 29th, and you will receive an email confirmation when your order is ready for pickup.
The bookstore opens for in-store purchases on January 3rd at 8:00 am.

Tuition Refund Procedures
Partial Withdrawal
Students who do not completely withdraw from the College but drop a class during the
regular drop/add period will be refunded the difference in the tuition paid and the
tuition rate applicable to the reduced number of hours, including fees appropriate
to the classes dropped. There is no refund due to a student who partially withdraws
after the official drop/add period.
Complete Withdrawal
A student who officially or unofficially withdraws from all classes before the first
official day of class will be refunded 100% of the total tuition and other institutional
charges.
A student who officially withdraws completely on or after the first day of class but
prior to the end of the third week of class will be refunded according to the withdrawal
date, as follows:
- Withdrawal during first week 75% of adjusted tuition and fees less 5% administrative fee
- Withdrawal during second week 50% of adjusted tuition and fees less 5% administrative fee
- Withdrawal during third week 25% of adjusted tuition and fees less 5% administrative fee
- Withdrawal after end of third week No refund
NOTE: The Insurance fees are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled.
An administrative fee not to exceed 5% of tuition and other institutional charges,
shall be assessed for each withdrawal within the period beginning the first day of
class and ending at the end of the third week of class.
Tuition refunds are computed according to the date the student notifies the college
Admission’s Office of their official withdrawal, not his/her last date of class attendance.
Refund checks are mailed from the Business Office weekly.
All refunds are issued according to ACCS Board Policy 803.02.

Student Financial Assistance

Tuition Payment Plan
Students who cannot pay 100% of their account balance by the payment deadline will be automatically enrolled in the Tuition Payment Plan which allows more time to pay balances due. There is a $25 enrollment fee. Click here for deadlines and more information.
