HOW TO BECOME AN EMPLOYER SPONSOR:
STEP 1: FINISH APPLICATION PROCESS AND SIGN AN AGREEMENT
Fill out an Interest Form below to begin the application process.
STEP 2: HIRE AN APPRENTICE, INTERN, OR CO-OP STUDENT
Before the semester begins, a company will need to hire a student candidate or an
existing employee to participate in the program.
STEP 3: NEGOTIATE SALARY
The company will need to negotiate a starting salary with the student.
STEP 4: CHOOSE A COMPANY MENTOR
Companies choose a mentor, or mentors, who are responsible for training the apprentices
on the job.

Our main goal is to provide an education experience to the students and aid in advancement
in the workforce. Upon completion of Sponsorship Application, we will review multiple
factors including the Better Business Bureau to make sure that each company is a fit
for the goals and values of our students. Wallace State Community College reserves
the right to deny or terminate sponsorship.
