Wallace State Defeats Wallace-Selma in 100-82 Victory
Wallace State Community College continued their winning streak with a dominant 100-82
win over Wallace Community College-Selma at Traditions Bank Arena. The Lions’ sharp
shooting and relentless energy propelled them to their 10th victory of the season.
Sophomore guard Kendarius Anderson delivered a career-high performance, scoring 36
points, including 10 three-pointers. His offensive explosion in the first half helped
Wallace State establish a 19-point halftime lead. Kami Young added 24 points and six
assists, demonstrating leadership on both ends of the court.
Wallace State's bench played a crucial role in maintaining the lead, with Authur Johnson
contributing 10 points and four rebounds. Viczavious Madden provided a spark with
seven points and six rebounds in just eight minutes of play.
The Lions’ defense also made an impact, forcing 14 turnovers and turning them into 20 points. Their precision from beyond the arc was evident, as they hit 19 three-pointers, shooting 37.3 percent from long range.
