Lions Edge Out Snead State for a Thrilling 80-75 Victory
Wallace State Community College pulled off a hard-fought 80-75 victory over Snead
State Community College in a highly competitive matchup at the Traditions Bank Arena
on Thursday, Nov. 21. The Lions overcame a five-point halftime deficit with a dominant
second-half performance to secure their sixth win of the season.
Sophomore guard Kami Young led the charge with a game-high 28 points, adding seven
assists and shooting 6-of-10 from the free-throw line. Sophomore guard Kendarius Anderson
delivered a clutch performance, contributing 17 points, including five three-pointers,
to keep the Lions’ offense humming.
Sophomore center Christian Thompson anchored the team’s defensive effort, tallying
12 points, 14 rebounds, and an impressive six blocks. His presence in the paint helped
limit Snead State’s opportunities and sealed the Lions’ dominance in critical moments.
The Lions outscored the Parsons 48-38 in the second half, shooting 41.3 percent from
the field and sinking 11 three-pointers in the game.
