Wallace State Softball Wins Game 2, Sweeps Coastal Alabama - South in Conference Doubleheader

Hanceville, AL — The Wallace State softball team clinched both games of a conference doubleheader against Coastal Alabama Community College - South on April 16, 2024, with a 7-3 victory in the second matchup.

The offensive charge was led by Bayleigh Rouse, who delivered an impressive 3-for-4 performance at the plate, driving in two crucial runs for her team. Haley Hollyhand contributed significantly to the scoring effort, launching a three-run homer in the top of the first inning to set the tone for Wallace State's offense. Additionally, Brandy Phillips added an RBI to the team's tally, further solidifying Wallace State's lead.
