Wallace State Singers going back in time with “That 70s Show”
Hanceville, AL — If the 70s groove is your thing, make plans to attend the Wallace State Singers upcoming performance entitled “That 70s Show!”
“We can’t wait to take our audience back to the 1970s,” said Tiffany Richter, director of the Wallace State Singers and other vocal ensembles at Wallace State Community College. “None of our singers were even born in the 1970s, but they have embraced the era that brought us the best of Chicago, Donna Summer, the Doobie Brothers, Journey and so many more. You will be singing along with us, I’m sure.”
If hearing hits from 1970s radio doesn’t have you singing along, a special section featuring a medley of theme songs from 1970s television shows will, Richter added.
“That 70s Show” will be performed Thursday through Saturday, April 11-13 at 7 p.m. at the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre in the Garlan Gudger Student Center. Admission is a $10 donation for adults and $5 for students. For more information, call 256.352.8277 or email amy.seymore@wallacestate.edu.
