In a conference showdown on March 7, 2024, the Wallace State Community College softball team secured a 9-4 victory over Snead State Community College at the Bobby McCracken Softball Stadium. 

Wallace State's offense shined as they capitalized on opportunities throughout the game. Leading the charge was Bayleigh Rouse, whose performance included two home runs, driving in a remarkable five runs for her team. Rouse's power at the plate proved to be a decisive factor in the outcome of the game.

The Wallace State team exhibited strong teamwork and determination, with Jessie Taylor contributing a crucial RBI alongside her three walks, and Brandy Phillips adding another RBI to the scoreboard. The team's balanced offensive effort allowed them to maintain control of the game from start to finish.

On the defensive side, pitcher Katie Simon delivered a solid performance, allowing only four runs while striking out two batters. Simon's composure on the mound and precise pitching played a pivotal role in securing the victory for Wallace State.
