Wallace State defeats Shelton State 83-72
Hanceville, AL – Wallace State Community College men’s basketball came out on top over Shelton State Community College by a score of 83-72.
Sophomore guard Jalen Anglin led in scoring for Wallace State with 18 points, followed by freshman guards Jimmie Williams and Arthur Johnson, each who contributed 14 points to the scoreboard. Williams also had 11 assists and seven rebounds while Johnson was 8 for 8 for free throws.
Sophomore center PJ Eason grabbed 10 rebounds and contributed nine points to the Lions’ tally. Tyson Walker sank a crucial three-pointer and added seven points to the scoreboard for Wallace State.
The win brings the Lions record to 14-3 for the season.
