Lady Lions secure 82-39 victory over Volunteer State Community College

Hanceville, AL — The Wallace State Community College women's basketball team clinched an 82-39 victory against Volunteer State Community College at Traditions Bank Arena in Tom Drake Coliseum on Jan. 5, 2024.

Key players for Wallace State displayed offensive skill throughout the game. Emariah Grant of Huntsville led the team with an impressive 21 points, supported by Jaden Winfrey of Cullman, who contributed 21 points as well. Nylaa Fuller of Huntsville stood out with a double-double, recording seven points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

Wallace State's sharp shooting was evident, particularly from beyond the arc, where they achieved a 54.1 three-point shooting percentage. The Lady Lions also put up a solid defense, limiting Volunteer State's scoring opportunities and forcing turnovers throughout the game.
