Women's Basketball secures 59-31 victory over Motlow State Community College

Hanceville, AL — The Wallace State Community College women's basketball team secured a 59-31 victory against Motlow State Community College on Dec. 4th, 2023, at The Nisbett Center on Motlow State's Moore County/Tullahoma Campus.

Despite a slow but energetic start, the Lady Lions managed to take control in the final quarter, clinching a 28 point victory.

Leading the scoring charge for Wallace State was Jaden Winfrey of Cullman, who tallied 16 points, while Nylaa Fuller of Huntsville contributed a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Ella Collum of Cullman also made significant contributions, scoring 13 points, including three successful three-pointers.

The Lady Lions demonstrated defensive prowess, forcing turnovers and holding Motlow State to just 31 points throughout the last quarter of the game.
