WSCC men’s basketball defeats Motlow State 83-71

Hanceville, AL – The Wallace State Community College Lions defeated the visiting Motlow State Community College team 83-71.

The Lions took an early lead in the first half, with dominating play from PJ Eason and Jimmie Williams. Eason's commanding presence under the rim secured crucial rebounds, while Williams orchestrated the offense with his deft passing and sharp shooting from beyond the arc.

The Lions ultimately prevailed, with stellar performances from Kendarius Anderson and Jalen Anglin.

Freshman guard Williams, of Cleveland, Ohio, scored 20 points and had 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Anglin, a sophomore guard from Jackson, Tenn., scored 18 points and had six rebounds. Eason, a sophomore center from Dadeville, scored 13 points and had 11 rebounds. . Anderson, a freshman guard from Tuscumbia, scored 12 points.
