Lady Lions secure 93-51 victory over Enterprise State

Hanceville, AL — The Wallace State Community College women's basketball team secured a 93-51 victory over Enterprise State Community College on Nov. 18, 2023 at Traditions Bank Arena in Tom Drake Coliseum.

The Lady Lions showcased an impressive offensive display, shooting 56.1 percent from the field and 34.5 percent from beyond the arc, while also dominating the boards and forcing turnovers.

Leading the charge for Wallace State was Layla Etchison of Hoover, who delivered a high-scoring performance with 25 points, supported by Ella Collum of Cullman with 16 points, and Emariah Grant of Huntsville contributing 14 points. Jaden Winfrey of Cullman also made a significant impact, adding 12 points to the team's tally.

The Lady Lions clutched a high number of rebounds, with Etchison leading the team with a total of nine. Defensively, Wallace State forced numerous turnovers, tallying an impressive 17 steals throughout the game.
