WSCC men’s basketball dominates Reid State 96-70
Hanceville, AL - Wallace State Community College Lions men’s basketball team took a demanding lead in their Nov. 18 match-up against Reid State Technical Community College.
From the very start, Wallace State showed their dominance on the court. Led by PJ Eason, Tyson Walker, Jimmie Williams, Kendarius Anderson, and Jalen Anglin, the Lions took control of the game early on.
Their defense proved to be formidable, limiting Reid State's opportunities and forcing turnovers.
Despite Reid State's efforts to mount a comeback in the second half, Wallace State remained relentless.
As the final buzzer sounded, Wallace State emerged victorious with a resounding 96-70 win.
Anderson, a freshman guard from Tuscumbia, led the Lions in points, scoring 19. Eason, a sophomore center from Dadeville, followed with 18 points and seven rebounds. Anglin, a sophomore guard from Jackson, Tenn., scored 16 points, pulled down three rebounds and had four assists. Williams, a freshman guard from Cleveland, Ohio, scored 15 points and had four rebounds, six assists and six steals. Walker, a freshman guard from Des Moines, Iowa, scored 10 points and had seven assists and two rebounds. Kelvin Turner, a sophomore guard from Cincinnati, Ohio, came off the bench to score 11 points.
