Lady Lions defeat Enterprise State 87-35

Hanceville, AL — The Wallace State Community College Women's Basketball team defeated Enterprise State Community College 87-35 on Nov. 7, 2023, at Enterprise State Community College.

Wallace State established an early lead, finishing the first quarter ahead 27-8. Emariah Grant of Huntsville and Kallie Tinker of Pisgah each scored 18 points, with both hitting six three-pointers. Nylaa Fuller of Huntsville added 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Layla Etchison of Hoover contributed 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Lady Lions were efficient from beyond the arc, making 43.2 percent of their three-point attempts and 41.7 percent from the field overall. They out-rebounded Enterprise State 41-22 and recorded 22 assists.

Wallace State's defensive efforts were key in their success, as they held Enterprise State to just 35 points and forced 23 turnovers. The Lady Lions' ability to convert turnovers into points further solidified their success throughout the game.

Wallace State maintained a comfortable lead throughout the game, securing the 87-35 victory.
